Ya se que el tema que voy a plantear es como el pez que se muerde la cola, el tema de nunca acabar, la pregunta sin respuesta....
Inspirado sin él quererlo por el bueno de HangTheDJ, a.k.a. “ValdanoPop”, me surge la idea de plasmar en papel la idea que, al menos a los donostiarras amantes del rock y del pop, nos bulle en la cabeza cuando salimos de refrescos cualquier noche.
Nuestra ciudad es una mierda (a menos que te guste Bisbal y asociados)
Vale, cada día hay más cositas para bailar más o menos agitado: La zona de Reyes Católicos se ha convertido en innegable delegación de sonidos de baile más agradables que desagradables (ya me entienden por desagradable, mucho bombo, volumen brutal y muchas caritas de cera).
En lo viejo el Etxekalte mantiene la presidencia honorífica en estas cuestiones. Y el premio del “alumno del año” se lo lleva el Branka. Y seguro que hay más txokos que cualquiera de los lectores de este blog, más duchos que yo en el tema, sabrá completar con detalle y entusiasmo.
En cuestiones roqueras, y una vez cerrado el Bukowski, dos metros y medio más abajo en la misma calle nos topamos el Garrido, gestionado por antiguos bukowskieros, con el mismo buen gusto que en la anterior etapa. ¿Y Walter, donde estás, amigo?

¿Y el pop? La monda, tú. Cada año, y esto es verídico, topo con un amante de estos sonidos que visita la ciudad en formato guiri, encantado porque le gustan La Buena Vida y Family y esas cosas que más abajo del Condado de Treviño tienen buena legión de seguidores (y bares en los que suenan).
